I liked the Italian-style building and my well-appointed and tastefully decorated room with backyard view. The location was perfect and exceptionally nice, next to Teatro dell'opera di Roma.

Cleanliness, friendly staff
Breakfast could improve a lot. Need greater variety in the menu- Just eggs and bakon or small sausages dont do the trick. You definetily need to have greater variery of breads and of course real fresh bread not ..... yesterdays bread left in the fridge.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. A great location very close to metro and train station. Great value in July!
We had a standard room which was very small but ok for a few days. If We were there longer, we would definitley prefer a superior room which is more spacious.

The room amentities were good - nice furnishings, bathrobe, slippers. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Internet was only available in common areas outside of the room. There was a 24 hour period that wifi was out of service. The mattress was too hard for my liking.

A nice anniversary surprise
Woke up to beautiful decorations and a complimentary bottle. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.
The air conditioning didn't provide adequate cooling, which led to some restless nights despite opening the windows. Noise from the street was a tad distracting.

Fine, botique hotel with a luxurious feel. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious with solicitious service. Overall good locations to transportation centers and a few nice restaurants.
Location was not central to major sites, but the ease of transportation made up for it. The subway and hop-on, hop off bus was down the block. The Plaza Navona was a one-hour walk.

We went to Italy for four weeks to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversay. Our first two weeks, November 11-25th and our last two days, December 6-8 were booked at Hotel Mascagni in Rome. All staff members went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming, comfortable and memorable. This was most impressive as the hotel was booked solid and very busy at all times. Front desk staff were always cheerful and ready to offer help and advice for every possible request. The daily buffet breakfast was always very good and the service by Marco and Guiseppe was excellent! Capuchinos and Coffee were always nice and hot. Our room was always meticulously taken care of and it was wonderful to have a kettle with a variety of teas and coffee. We would definitely return to Hotel Mascagni in the future!

The location was perfect for exploring, with easy access to
Restaurants and attractions. I appreciated the cute atmosphere and personalized service, although the room did have a few minor imperfections that could be improved. We had a good stay and would happily return.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The location of the hotel was good; near the metro and within walking distance of many sites. The breakfast was good.
There was no free wifi in the rooms. There was one computer provided for Internet access, however, it was always busy. We had to go down the street to a coffee shop for Internet, which was very annoying. Many restaurants offered free wifi with a 2.50 cup of coffee, so not sure why the hotel could not. The beds were also VERY hard, the could definitely use an upgrade on the beds and the shower, which sprayed all over the floor and walls when you turned it on.

Perfectly clean and quirky property with exceptionally good continental breakfasts and very professional staff. Comfy beds in our queen room. Good-sized private bathroom. Magnificent location in Repubblica district not far from certain areas as well as termini and Rome city center. Early check-in, parking nearby. Late check-out.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay! The room was comfortable and it had a lovely view. We particularly enjoyed the amazing breakfast-fresh pastries and delicious coffee! The location was perfect as we could easily walk to places like the Trevi Fountain and various shops nearby. The only downside was the air conditioning-it was a bit tricky to adjust, so we ended up opening the windows at times.

What an amazing hotel with exceptional location and staff to make our Roman holiday the best! The breakfast, rooms, amenities, and wonderful bathrooms were divine. We eat GLUTEN FREE and the hotel was very helpful at breakfast with GF croissants and breads, plus guided us to the best restaurants so we could eat without worry. Senza Glutina! Molto Bene!
